Elle was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is a happy mother of one to her beautiful baby girl! Here's a one on one Q+A session we had with this fashionable Bumble mama. Check out her blog here.  http://livingincolorstyle.blogspot.com/

Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
How many kiddos do you have?
My husband and I have one baby. Grace Vivian Adele is six months old now and the light of our lives!

What is your kid's favorite thing to do right now?
Grace looooves to sit up. She is learning that she can play with her toys, watch us from across the room, and do so many other things better when she sits upright. It's so sweet to watch her develop and learn.

What is your favorite activity to do with your little one?
I love reading books to Grace, but my favorite thing is baby snuggles while nursing, of course!

SAHM, WAHM, or working mama?
I taught Kindergarten for three years before becoming a stay-at-home mama, but now I work from home part-time doing a bit of freelance work for a great company.

Do you have any hobbies?
I love blogging, of course, but I am also a huge bookworm. When I was pregnant and had lots of time on my hands I read all kinds of novels. My husband and I are also huge Indie music and movie buffs. Lastly, I've recently become very interested in natural living and plan to explore that further.

Do you have any pets?
No pets at the moment, but we talk about getting a golden retriever or labrador for Gracie to grow up with someday!

What was your favorite craving while being pregnant with Grace?
I loooved pizza.

What is the one makeup item that you can't live without?
I couldn't live without my lash extensions, haha. In fact, I have tried... It's not possible. I love that I don't wear any eye makeup nor do I have to put any mascara on to make my lashes look long and full.

What is on your book list faves? Any book suggestions for new mommies?
Absolutely! I read novels for recreation, but when I became pregnant, I found lots of new mommy, breastfeeding, pregnancy, and parenting books! A few of my favorites are: Bringing Up Bebe (love and practice French parenting philosophy, Your Baby's First Year, Week by Week (love this for milestones), The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding (loved this to prepare me for things like pumping, colostrum, and storing milk), and The Happiest Baby on the Block (lots of this stuff really helped with the newborn stage as a first time mom!)

What are top 5 favorite clothing brands?
I love anything from Nordstrom, of course, but I also get many of my pieces at Old Navy, Banana Republic, H&M, LOFT, and even Target - I always say that my blog is for the cost-conscious every girl... I am a teacher turned SAHM, and can't afford to only shop at Nordstrom!

Describe to us what your ideal weekend would be?
An ideal weekend would definitely be sleeping in, (preferably with some co-sleeping cuddles in the early hours of the morning), grabbing a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee shop, then heading out to the park to get some fresh air (preferably carrying Gracie in my Tula or Kinderpack!) Maybe an afternoon nap, and then a trip to one of our favorite local restaurants, then back home for a movie night on the couch. My ideal weekend looks a lot different now that I'm a mama, in case you can't tell from my super low-key description haha. I would also love to spend a weekend in Europe, and that would be ideal, but I'm content with my sweet little family.

What is your favorite way to relax/unwind?
Blogging is my favorite way to unwind, but also, cuddling up on the couch with a cup of coffee, and a movie in my sweatpants + a fuzzy blanket is very relaxing as well.

Do you have any summer vacations planned?
We will probably be visiting the Pacific Northwest sometime in the next year, and I am super excited about that!

Where in the world has been your favorite vacation destination and why?
I haven't been very many places yet, but if I could choose my next vacation destination with money being no factor, I definitely would want to take a trip to Greece. I've seen so many photos of the towns and beaches there and it looks like pure heaven.

What is the best advice/tip you can give mother to mother?
I love this question because sometimes people aren't able to give an answer to it right away - but the same thing always pops up in my head. I'm not even sure who told me to do it, but I've adapted it as my official 'piece of advice' to give any new mama. Do nothing but lay on the couch/in bed with your newborn and snuggle. Don't worry about the dishes, the laundry, or dinner, just take in those first few months of snuggles and cherish them. Gracie laying on my chest cuddled up so close to me when she was 1 and 2 months old are some of my most favorite memories. They'll stick with me forever, even when she's walking across the stage to grab her high school/college diplomas, I'll always reflect on our sweet, little moments together when she was a newborn.

What is your favorite Bumble product?
My faaaavorite product has to be the All in One Backpack! I am huge into babywearing, so I love having a diaper bag that can be carried multiple ways (preferably on my back so I can be hands free!) My favorite Bumble print right now is either Majestic Mint or Majestic Slate.
