What is Harlow's favorite thing to do right now?
Harlow has recently mastered crawling and is beginning to pull herself up to stand. She is very curious and loves to explore her surroundings through sight, touch and yes, even taste!
What is your favorite activity to do with your little one?
Put some T.Swift tunes on blast and have a dance party for two!
Do you work?
I am currently a stay-at-home mom, but prior to having Harlow, I was a Managing Director for a boutique.
Do you have any hobbies?
Other than reading, I love to dance. In high school, I was a professional Hula dancer and would travel to various countries promoting the Hawaii tourism industry. I also really enjoy the outdoors - my husband and I love hiking on the weekends and having picnics in the park.
Do you have any pets? How many? (Names)
No pets, but we would like to eventually get a dog for Harlow when she's a bit older. :)
What was your favorite craving while being pregnant with Harlow?
Something I found myself eating frequently throughout my pregnancy was cheeseburgers with fries and a pickle!
What is the one makeup item that you can't live without?
I can't stand chapped lips, so I would have to say my favorite drug store find, Nivea A Kiss of Cherry Fruity Lip Care. It's the perfect sheer berry tint that will keep your lips smooth and supple all day long! I buy them in multiples whenever I see them.
What is on your book list faves? Any book suggestions for new mommies?
One of my All Time Faves is - The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo and Mommy Must Have is - The Happiest Baby on the Block: The New Way to Calm Crying and Help Your Newborn Baby Sleep Longer by Harvey Karp
So hard to choose! Zara, Anthropologie, J.Crew, Free People, Reformation - just to name a few!
Describe to us what your ideal weekend would be?
My ideal weekend would be spent on the North Shore of Hawaii with my two loves.
Sun. Sea. Siesta.
We would soak up the sun, play in the ocean and have an afternoon siesta in a hammock.
What is your favorite way to relax/unwind?
My favorite way to relax is to curl up on the couch with a good book and a steaming cup of hot chocolate (extra marshmallows!).
Where in the world has been your favorite vacation destination and why?
My favorite vacation destination so far has been Japan. It is a place where modern meets tradition in the best way. You might start your day at Tsukiji Fish Market with fresh sushi caught that very morning! Followed by, a train ride to Tokyo Disneyland. Later, you could spend a few hours (or more) getting lost in the shopping stalls of Harajuku. Finally, ending the day with a relaxing soak in the bath houses.
Something I read while I was pregnant with Harlow, still resonates with me till this day - never wish your life away. Throughout pregnancy, my husband and I were always saying, "I can't wait to..." (find out the baby's gender; feel the baby kick for the first time; etc.) One day, I read this quote and it really put things into perspective for me. It reminded me to live in the moment and actually enjoy being pregnant. I learned to embrace the belly and power through those leg cramps. You are carrying a baby inside you and that is a miracle in and of itself!
What is your favorite Bumble product?
I'm currently coveting the chic, Flora Satchel Bag from the Embroidery Collection. I could imagine taking this to Paris with all of its luxe features! I'm in love with the vintage-inspired embroidery and buttery soft lambskin leather trim. It is extra roomy for all of our Mommy & Me essentials. Not to mention, it has a removable shoulder strap for hands-free versatility.
